Cubit carried out the electronic hardware and firmware design of a smart gateway with Ethernet, RS485, Zigbee, WiFi, 3G communication capabilities (with remote software upgrade possibility), and a smart meter for an energy consumption monitoring system. This system is designed for both private and industrial applications, aiming to acquire and transmit real-time data via radio to a central unit. The collected data includes voltage, current, gas flow, and water flow information. Specifically, the system detects active power (W), voltage (V), current (A), reactive power (VAr), Power Factor (PF), and Total Harmonic Distortion (THD%).
