Abstract
The main goal of the project POWER (Political and sOcial awareness on Water EnviRonmental challenges) is to provide information about water issues to citizens, professionals and policy makers and enable knowledge sharing between them. Local Water Community Platforms have been developed. The Platforms are focused on four water related issues presented in four Key Demonstration Cities. The research presented in this paper is focused on the elicitation of user needs and an initial consultation of the designed Platforms.
